It's free range of eggs, additive- free cream and domestic flour are the bases for that cake shop and is called Tamagoiro no cakeya san. The first time when you will go there you could be little surprised! Because the shop is in a private house. You will be welcomed with warm greeting and a nice BGM is making the atmosphere pleasant. In the showcase have the famous Swiss roll, pudding, chiffon cake etc. They all look nice and it is difficult to choose one. Also you can eat in the Japanese style room with a particular tea or organic coffee (each 300 yen). The most popular is the Swiss roll with it's moist dough and delicate fresh cream, but the long cream puff is nice too. The café limited sweets are combined together with its magazine which is issued every one and half month in collaboration with sponsors shops in turn. From this December the popular shop Shogetudou's sweets will line up. They exhibit art pictures too, many kind of information are been dispatched from Café feel. You can ask to do a latte art for your cappuccino and enjoy an enrich dessert menu including fruit tart. At lunch time, they serve local vegetable used home made curry or daily pasta, also have a salad bar and a drink bar. At night, people can enjoy a variety of liquor. This café has a wi-fi environment and free socket service which is the first in Karatsu. It's a place where you can enjoy a little bit of the daily life essence. There are plenty of choices such as baguette based breads, croissant, stuffed bread etc. And inner part in the café has a space where sun drenched from a big window where you can have drinks and meals. While you enjoy your meal, some bossa nova music as a background will make feel more comfortable than ever. The first shop was opened on the mountain side in December 2004, and in April 2010 they moved to the present place. The name of the shop "9" (in Japanese Kyu) came from the owner's nick name "Kyu-chan" and when he traveled around France he came to like the sound of 9 (neuf). Lunch menu are A lunch 1,850 yen ( main dish＋pasta＋soup＋salad＋bread＋drink＋dessert), B lunch 1,500 yen (main dish＋soup＋salad＋bread＋drink＋dessert), Pasta lunch, Rice plate, Sand plate 900 yen each (all have soup＋salad＋bread＋drink) etc. This time, I tried the Rice plate at 900 yen. This story was cinematized based on Sueko Yasumoto a 10 years girl's diary who lost her parents and lived through the hard life with her brothers and sister four of them together. The diary relate stories about their coal mining town, school life and living life in 1940's Irino village in Saga Prefecture (present Hizen-machi Karatsu city). The main story is about her second brother (Nianchan) who led the little family. He was born in a scholar family and was very erudite. He adopts developed western technique and on the other side was deeply versed in Confucianism and Chinese poem. This exhibition is showing his 15 works (including 3 of them at the main building) at the storehouse gallery. At the seaside town Christmas, tree is decorated with fish net and colorful shells and its ornaments are packed dried fish or dried squid. You can take out a pack of fish as a Christmas present from Yobuko town. Morning Market Street is also illuminated during this period. This "Yuta and…." Have done performances in 363 theatres in the country from Wakkanai Hokkaido to Ishigakijima Okinawa thoughts to deliver impression to children all over Japan. It is said that the entertainment is high in quality and on the other side, passing messages to the audience. This story appeal to the audience about the importance of friendship and solidarity, wonderful of life through Yuta and zashiki warashi's (departed kids soul) emotions who are disadvantaged. This could be a strong message from zashiki warashi who carry the sadness and pain because they couldn't live even they wished to. Naturally we'll realize its theme while we enjoying the musical. Wishing that the message reach to children and bring to them that how precious life is and how important it is to have a compassion heart. And it is the national one of the most three beautiful pine groves. It is the black pine grove that the first lord of Karatsu Terasawa ordered to plant in Keicho period (1596-1615), and is also the place where the 15 thousand local peasants' upraised rebellion. And one of the seven wonders of the Niji no Matsubara is the well of Aso tea shop where fresh water wells up despite the proximity of the beach. Once you reach the beach at the back of the groves, you will see Kashiwajima Island (write in Kanji mean that gods gather Island) and Takashima Island which is very famous for good luck to win the lottery. A vinyl nursery is prepared in February and planting of potato seeds are in April ～ May. Jinenjos are grown in the asepsis soiled beds which protect them from insects or illness. And these grow up Jinenjos with a lot of nutrition are in season right now. How have you been? It is a busy season isn't it? Karawan is keeping busy too. All character is on stage .Can you find Karawan-kun? Last month November 26 and 27, Karawan-kun has been to Saitama to join "Yuru-Chara Summit in Hanyu". The number of the audience was 135 thousand for these 2 days and Karawan did his best to appeal for Karatsu and himself. And at the "Yuru-Chara Grand Prix" our Karawan-kun got a 49 place out of 348 characters. Lately, it is absolutely freezing cold isn't it? So, increase movement by car without thinking. There is an intersection at the Nabatake Karatsu in front of Matsuro-kan where I often go along. I came to notice after two years…… It has ornament of rice ears. Harvest festival was held at Matsuro-kan last month and I found out that this is the earliest rice field site in Japan. Also, there are signal and streetlight which have pine tree ornament at the street on the way to Niji no Matsubara pine grove. I feel that lot of lovely Karatsu things will appear more and more!
